The KW structure design is simple, with a square shaped bimetallic plate as the temperature sensing element. When the temperature rises to a certain value, the bimetallic plate jumps suddenly, and the transmission contact quickly moves to disconnect the circuit. When the temperature drops to a certain value, the bimetallic sheet resets and the contact also returns to its original state, achieving the purpose of making and breaking the circuit. The bimetallic material itself does not flow and can be applied in high-power circuits.
